As you may be aware, the Golden Lion in Romford is undergoing a change in management. While the current acting managers are fighting to keep the Wednesday night gigs running, the new management has plans to transform the function room into a restaurant. This will obviously mean that paulsgig.com will no longer be able to put bands on at the Golden Lion!

IF YOU DO NOT WANT THIS TO HAPPEN, WE MUST SHOW THE NEW MANAGEMENT THAT THE GIGS CAN EARN THE PUB JUST AS MUCH (IF NOT MORE) MONEY THAN A RESTAURANT.

HELP US SHOW THE NEW MANAGEMENT HOW BENEFICIAL LIVE MUSIC IS TO THE LION BY COMING DOWN TO THE WEDNESDAY NIGHT GIGS! Even if your favourite band is not playing, YOU can help secure future gigs for when they do!

The technological power of Paul edges forward and another barrier is smashed!

In the late 80's Paul learnt how to programme the time on his digital watch, by the mid 90’s Paul had the power the set his VCR to record late night French films on Channel 4, as early as 2004 Paul could send email at will and 2005 saw another breakthrough as Paul text’d the words "ok c u l8ter".
